    Replacement for a Nexus NX-4000

So I did the sensible thing and bought myself a UPS....and despite it not being powerful enough for me to play games for more than five minutes without the battery drain warning kicking in (go figure...although I don't waste much time playing games now, which is a good thing), it still seemed the sensible option.

Today I walk into the office, the lights flicker, the power goes out, and my computer turns off. Funny, I think, it's not supposed to do that. So the UPS looks dead, ooops, and I can't power up the 'puter. Ooops twice. Replace the UPS cable to the computer with a cable directly from the surge protector (yup, all this runs through a surge protector too) and the computer still doesn't boot.

Crap, hoping it's the PSU and not the MB.

Anyway, need a replacement. Something pretty quiet, 400Wish ATX, and available for next day delivery (or if anyone knows of a retailer in West London that carries decent PSUs). Don't want to break the bank as I plan to build a new rig in the next 12 months.

    Thanks.

Ahah, sorted. A mate's given me a spare EZCool 550W he had lying around. It can't be good, since Scan have them for about £20, but it's actually quieter than the old Nexus...

If you want to buy a cheap replacement, Scan do Seasonic 380 watters for about £40ish - very queit and good PSUs.
