shuttle - help required!

hi peeps, just set up my shuttle power on..

bugger all it makes noise, and powers up just no display - is there anyway i can reset of bios ? or something like that? think that may be the problem

it sounds like its powerin up fine, but signal to monitor, and ive made double sure rams in ok etc

Set the bios to boot off of PCI and not AGP and see what happens. Also do you have a soundcard in already and what slot is it in? Is it sharing an IRQ with the AGP slot and can it be moved( providing it is there)?

swafe, basics. clear the cmos and check the jumper is on right pins. try it again, then rip it apart and start again on minimal equipment, cpu ram etc, that way u can determine the prob

i couldnt even get to the bios !

and russ, nooo some reason my shuttle stores data in bios not cmos, so resettin the cmos did bugger all !


fear not, cos i have fixed it held in insert and it defaulted fsb to 100mhz lettin my lame cpu work
