Why not buy an external mixer with say 8 inputs, and then connect that to the line in on the sound-card? My Yamaha mixer only cost me £30 and it's 8 inputs (though not digital).

The Delta 44 is a nice piece of kit, good luck with getting one.
For joy, apparently, it was all Franny could do to hold the phone, even with both hands.
Wont be doing it for a good month or two but it'll be part of a pc that'll place my current stereo pc and the one thing that became clear with the current box is that more inputs are needed
