you are looking at more professional cards, and probably serious money.
You are not likely to find it in standard computer shops, you will be better of going to a music/hardware kinda shop, or probably a specialist company of the internet or something.
Twigman
yeah, your not likely to find lots of line ins on the card, but there are plenty of cards aimed at the home recording studio market with breakout boxes. have a look at the Delta series on www.m-audio.com to start with.
For joy, apparently, it was all Franny could do to hold the phone, even with both hands.
Don't all cards have 2 lines in ? One microphone port, which is a line in is it not ? and one line in port ? That makes 2 doesn't it ?

I have a sonic fury, that has a line in, some internal line ins (which could be converted back out to externals) and a versajack that can become another line in.
Why not buy an external mixer with say 8 inputs, and then connect that to the line in on the sound-card? My Yamaha mixer only cost me £30 and it's 8 inputs (though not digital).
I got a sonicfury for sale if you want one of these ?Originally posted by Gunbuster
