Hard Drive Temperatures?

I installed a program called HDTach last night, having never used a HDD monitoring program before I thought Id try one out.

As soon as I installed it, it gave me a warning about my HDD temps. The temps it listed are below:

Hitachi 80GB SATA 300 System drive - 47c
Maxtor Diamondmax 9 160GB SATA 150 - 57c
Maxtor Diamondmax 9 160GB SATA 150 - 56c

The two Maxtors caused a warning. Whats a normal HDD temp? Im guessing mine are too high?

Theyre all sat in the same cage at the front of my CM Stacker, without a fan on them.

They are a touch high, especially if they are the temps at idle, they'll shoot another 5c or so during heavy access.

Ideally you want temps of only around 50c and preferably less Even a low cfm fan will definately bring those temps down a lot.
