    Question PS2 Pad - USB Adapter - Vista 64bit

Does anyone know of a PS2 controller to USB adapter that works with 64bit vista? I was just about to get one, when I realised I'd have to think about driver support.

    Thanks .

The short answer is no. I doubt the adapter above will work on 64bit, but you never know.

Ive got the one from play that you linked to above, but ive not yet tried it on vista 64. Ive just ordered PES 6 and will be digging out my PS2 pads and this adapter, so ill let you know if it works.

Just worried about experiencing something like this:

Has anyone actually used one that worked on vista that they could recommend?

    Thanks again.

EDIT - Just seen tigerboyce response. The above thread also mentions the XBOX 360 controller, but they're much more expensive than the £7 I might have to pay for a PS2 adapter.

ajbrun. I cant even get my adapter to work properly in 32bit Vista nevermind 64bit. The drivers supplied for XP on the CD just dont work.

My advice would be to go for the 360 controller, that what im gonna have to do. Just buy a 2nd hand wired one off ebay to save cash. You can use the wireless ones but you'd also need to buy the PC receiver
