Price check for me old system?

Looking for a price check on the following:

Asus P4P800E Deluxe S478 mobo
P4 3.2 NW HT CPU
Thermalright 947U cooler with delta 92mm fan
2 x 512mb Twinmos BH6 DDR400 RAM
XFX 6800le AGP Video card
160gb Seagate 7200.7 SATA NCQ drive
NEC 3500 DVD writer
Enermax 365w PSU

I have somebody locally who is interested in all of the above but am really unsure on how much to ask for it. I'll be fitting it into their existing bog standard tower case for them so the above will form an upgrade from their current 1ghz Athlon system.

Ask for 500 with an honest look on your face :p

Id give that to a friend for about £250

yeahh, my comps pretty similar. id say abt 350-450.

if u put it in the paper and advertised it in such a way, u could get more for it. like, if you put vista on it, some stupid ppl to pay like £750ish for it. i dun that b4! (not with vista) :)

£350-£450 seems pretty fair, although i would be looking at the lower end of that.

Blimey, I was thinking more along the lines of 200, maybe 250 max tbh, can anybody price up the individual items for me.

i don't think it will be worth doing a split mate.. might be wrong though..might be wrong lol

I'd say you'd get the most for the gfx card and the RAM. Price the whole rig at £300, settle for £250.

its not latest spec, so to b able to sell all the parts, youd have to knock off slighly more than they're worth! so it would b better to knock money off the whole system, than off evry individual part. saying that, id give u a fivr for ur 3500A - then ill hav 2 matched :D

If its not going to someone you know I'd advertise it a bit higher. Cant hurt. Where are you advertising?

It's going to go to my neighbour, he's been bugging me for months about how crap his PC is and how 'smooth' mine is so hopefully this will keep him quite for a few months :)

say £300, if he's been buggin u so long, £50 more wont b a problem for hime, and if u reli wanted to, when u exchanged the guds, u cud jus go, "hey, here u go, im feelin generous!" and give him £20

Maybe you should ask for £300 but once he is about to part, say i have changed my mind and you are a good friend and Just for you, you can have it for £200 smackers its worth blah blah with fitting and stuff, like a similar idea some i think mentioned before.

Turned out that his old case would only accomodate a mATX mobo so ended up putting the lot into an old case I had and let him have the complete base unit for £265, he came and picked it up yesterday and seemed more than happy with it, especially as he still has his old system to put into another room for the kids to use.
