UPS - Power protection

Anyone using a UPS? If so can you recommend any for home use? I have surge protection but we've had a couple of 5 second power outages yesterday, and a few spanning back over the last week too.

I'm using a Belkin 1200VA unit. It's been fine so far. There's a slight whine, but it not noticable over the computer and I've yet to find a slient one.

Expect them to die around the 3 year mark.

We have supplied a few clients the following

APC Back-UPS ES 700VA 230V

Its an 8 port extension, but 4 are surge protected and the other 4 are surge/battery protected, also you can plugged your phone line in it

Silent running and since we put them in, their internet has stayed up days instead of hours!

There are £65 to buy.

I can only find the 500va one at around £65 So i'm thinnking that one may do the job.
