link please, cant find any review for the U-120 on there.
bleh, i wonder if theyre even using a fan...
i never rate reviews from most pc magazines highly because those on the web do more sophisticated testing.

One negative review isn't gonna put me astray
I've read most of the reviews on the top coolers and it is amazing how the mileage varies between review to review. Some get crap temps but other sing from hills about how low the temps are. Some complain that the mounting mechanism is too complicated and other says it was the easiest HS to install.
About the only common comments about the Ultra-120 are that it's big and that the base isn't machined that well.
If the base is not machined that well - that would account for a lot of variation in performance...... some must be better that others?
Try to make each and every day the best it can be.
Custom PC (?i think it was this) did a review of fans this month and the Arctic freezer 7 pro won and it was one if not THE CHEAPEST
point is that gets my vote, and buy/spend 10mins in whsmith reading it if ya want i did lol
The Custopm PC LABS test was of CPU HSFs ... not fans, and yes I trust them (CustomPC) more than most Internet review sites (not including Hexus). CPC seem to tell it like it is and don't hols back critisisms or pointing out faults and failings.
And they are even handed, if a particular manufacturer brings out a great piece of kit that CPC highly rate, and follow with another product that is a dog - it gets slated.
They must really upset some of theit advertisers.... but they tell it as they find it and they really put stuff through the mill in testing and it all sems fair and above-board.
Try to make each and every day the best it can be.
