Need somthing like the Creative Muvo nx - but bigger

Looks like the biggest size is 128meg - need one thats at least 256meg. Anyone seen anything like it ?
Must be of a very close size, and have a USB connection so it can be directly plugged into a computer with no leads.
    It also must be USB2.

Anyone seen anything like it ?

I have the 128MB version of this job.. I posted a mini-review of it in the Bargain hunt section a few months ago. You might be able to find it if you search hard enough (I think the thread is called FAO Theo : Mp3 player or something similar).

Cracking little bit of kit, and an absolute bargain. Only drawback in terms of your needs it's USB1.1. However, transfers are pretty quick, you can fill it up in around a minute.

Hope that helps a bit. If you fancy it, keep your eye on the special offers page. It appears there every so often.

    I have one of these.
Not USB 2.0 and only 256MB, but it's absolutely dandy. Perfect for the gym and i can afford to wait the 6 or so mins for the transfer.
Probably not the best price, but you get the idea.

Wait for the MuVo 2. It's 1.5Gb in a package not much bigger than the current MuVo, should retail for around £170.

Should be pretty darn good. When does it come out then?

The Muvo2 doesn't look like your regular Muvo though. Hard to tell from the pictures but I'd guess it'll be a cable-fed device.

i was looking into getting something like a 512mb or a 1.5gb, but the prices are ridiculous, i dont think i would be able to stand buying one and know that for 50 or so quid more i could have had 20gb ! how come the price for a 128/256 is around 100 then when u look at 512 its like 170? its crazy!

Have you tried a mooch round http://www.advancedmp3players.co.uk ?

Would something like a NexIIe do the job?

Curiosity compels me to ask though - what is this new form of USB that has cable free connections?
