Does it go off!!???

I bought a tube of it about 5 years ago and have never touched it, never taken the cap off even. Is there any way to check if it's still ok?

Thermal paste does separate over time, hower if u can somehow remix it (squeeze tube around a fair amount with cap on) it will be fine. Its just a physical process (no chemical changes) so it will be fine.

Nope, there might be a bit of chemical seperation, all you need to do is squeeze it out on a clean surface (preferably plastic/ceramic based), mix it about for a bit before applying.

Nah, doesn't go off or anything. But aidanjt is right, it seperates. Give it a good mix up before using.

remember that if its not been airtight, it'll have set inside the tube
