western digital sata 250 hdd

I'll give you £12 for the BFG and my respect.

Don't know much about opterons, but if it was a P4, you'd probably get about £500 for the system, even with a lower end graphics card.

With the bfg you might get £500 but otherwise you would be treading on core 2 duo territory

I thought you'd already placed your order for a 640MB version. . Well, I guess you could always sell that on to me for £162 and keep your BFG...

i forgot to add 2g of ram to that line up...

i was hoping for a little more than £160(ish) for it because it is less than a month old and barely used.
Guess i shot myself in the foot with this card a little as u can get a new 8800gts for about £185 (and dropping by the look of things) although i have heard the BFG warranty is excelent so...
if ppl really dont think im gunna get more for it now then i might cancel the order for the 640 and just get the beasty ATI version or a 8900gs (or whatever i can afford at that point)

To be fair i dont think i would sell the other parts atm anyway as this system should keep me fairly up to date for a 1 1/2 years or so. Even then it would make an ideal file/game/whatever server to run when i get my office in amsterdam

thats about what i was hoping for.

i was posting on another thread about speakers and it got me thinking i might cancel the order and get a nice 5.1 amp and set of speakers to start building my hifi up ready for the house next year. I already have a nice set of floorstanders but my amp buzz's and i HATE these logitech things.

Meh i wish i cud be content with what i have
