ASUS AN8 SLI Premium Upgrade path.

I currently have a ASUS AN8 SLI Premium motherbaord paired with a overclocked Opteron 146 (see sig). I dont wont to upgrade my machine much more but can see the benfits of dual core etc.

Question is not only with chip should I go for but has anyone seen any good deals ?

    I've got the same as you, but it's 939 sockets all the way - I've got a X2 4200. You can't even go for a AM2 chip.
This hot girl came over to myspace last night, she twittered my yahoo till I
googled all over her facebook. Ask Jeeves...

best you can do is the x2 4200 for about £100

or do a mobo, cpu, ram upgrade to am2 or intel for around £300
