too late now
i have a copperhead, really good mouse. apparenlty better than a G5
yeh flatmate has razor feels like its worth about 15 quid
Having used the MX1000, I would have thought it would convince you of the benefits of cordless (when done well )
My recommendation would be the MX1000, G5 or G7
(Sigh, it's time like this I remember why I use firefox. Attempt 2.)
One of my friends recently bought the Razer Deathadder. It looked, and feels, pretty big and its made of that non-slip plastic stuff, which i think is more comfortable than the hard plastic on top of my MX500 tbh. It was pretty smooth when I moved it, plus it didn't feel really flimsy like my other friends razer (think it was a copper head, not sure though on that one). Also, it has a really cool fade-in-and-out blue led on it . I'm so convinced I think I'm gunna get one myself.

PS: CustomPC gave it 5 'arrows' (they are arrows aren't they?) this month!
It looks the badgers nadgers, but it's infra-red and I wonder if the ultra-high dpi might make it just too sensitive.
I found the MX1000 can be 'too' sensitive, and its only 800dpi...
all what your used to dave, i use my g7 on 2000
Currently I only have to move my MX1000 and inch on the Icemat to travers 1680 pixels... how can you get any more sensitive than that?
Yea, this is bang in the middle
i always wondered if lowering the sensitivity lowered the DPI?
It does yeah.
Taken from the Logitech MX518 webpage:
'In-game sensitivity switching to 1,600, 800, and 400-dpi resolution'.
But like people have said, the sensitivity can be adjusted to your taste with most highend mice, so I don't believe one could be 'too' sensitive, people could just turn it down if they wanted
