    Vista Ultimate 32Bit Compatibility

    Hi there,

I'll finally be building my new rig next week and have been pondering about the OS for compatibility, this is the hardware I'll be using:
Intel Core 2 Duo E6600, Socket 775, 2.4 GHz, 1066MHz FSB, Conroe Core, 4MB Cache, Retail cpu (Overclocked)
    Asus P5B Deluxe/WiFi-AP iP965 Motherboard
768MB Gainward 8800GTX Bliss PCI-E(x16) Graphics Card (Overclocked, if needed)
    2Gb (2X1Gb) Corsair TwinX DDR2 XMS2 Dominator PC8500 Memory
320 Gb Western Digital WD3200YS RE x2 on RAID-0 (Primary Drive)
500 Gb Western Digital WD5000KS x2 (extra storage)
    Enermax Galaxy 1000Watt PSU [Purchased]
    Logitech MX Revolution Mouse [Purchased]
    >Watercooled CPU & GPU.

Old Hardware that I'll be keeping with the new rig:
    HighPoint RocketRAID 1540 4port SATA1 Card
    4x WD 320GB SATA1 HDD's
Pioneer DVR110 16X DL DVD Burner
NEC ND-4550A 16X DL DVD Burner
    Logitech G15 Gaming Keyboard
Soundgraph iMon Knob & Remote Control
    Dell 2405FPW 24” Screen
Logitech Z5500 Digital 5.1 speaker kit connected via both Optical Out and analogue 5.1 outs from mobo.
    WD iBook 320GB External USB2 HDD x2
LaCie Big Disk Extreme External 500GB HDD (currently on firewire port)
    Canon iPixima 4000 Printer

My question is, do you think I will have any problems with any of the above hardware with Vista Ultimate 32Bit OEM?

    TIA, James.

You should be fine with all that, all the major stuff is supported, the printer and the iMon might not be.

Soundgraph have released new Vista software so the remote should work, hopefully. Looks like my printer will also work, according to the Canon site, with the Vista drivers.

You can always run some stuff in XP Comaptibility Mode.

True, yeah hopefully the rig should be sweet once everything's setup right.
