The Reclusa keyboard does look good though.

I find that odd. I have a Copperhead (the blue one) and it is hands-down THE most buggiest mouse I have ever laid a finger on.

Refused to work in OSX, kept dropping out in Windows and caused the ZBoard drivers to fail to install if it was plugged in.......all these seemed to be known issues as well. The only problem that ever got resolved was OSX compatibility and that only came in the very latest firmware (6.18, a recent release) that was released over a year after the mouse came out.

Then I got a Habu......and it works flawlessly, having none of the issues above.

So, really not sure how you can say the internals are the same, my experiences show otherwise.

I'll let you know - i should get it by the weekend. I've read much the same thing but I just needed a lit keyboard without stupid flat keys and didn't want to pony up for the G15. The wife likes to sit in dark rooms with computers.. Sweet

I have the eclipse 2 ..its a bit dull and uneven on red.

Blue is pretty good for normal use.
Purples good if you really are blind.

I never noticed I touch typed until I got the eclipse lol

My wife is always telling me off for doing that! She comes in the office, and says "you shouldn't be sitting in the dark", and turns the lights on, consequently blinding me when I'm about to take the winning flag in DoD:S! At least thats what I tell my team-mates...

I quite like them..they're quiet which was my main reason for getting it but they are direct and solid feeling.

Maybe i'm missing out on the luxeries of logitech though.

The first was nice - the lighting bugged me; the default lighting profile (which changed to the default every time tou reboot the PC!) is so bright you can't see the keys propely! The II has fixed this I hope.

Reclusa? Are they kidding? Suggesting gamers are recluses??!

Like the shape and the jog wheels, hate the giant Microsoft logo, and it's not just the return key that's been chopped - the hash/tilde has gone, hash symbol now on key 3 rather than a £ symbol... that's hopefully just the US version.

Don't like the smaller return key and bigger shift key really...

AND it's not wireless. What is it with Microsoft and their total inability to produce a decent wireless keyboard...

    Hey the G15 is nice!

I've got one* and the LCD's quite useful for clock and CPU/temp info and stuff if you're gaming.

The reclusa looks quite nice, like a size 0/Nicole Richie version of the G15 IMO.

    *it's true I don't have a girlfriend, but that's out of choice!

im sure it is useful but did it have to be so ugly...and big.. lol

the reclusa is far more elegant...once you've painted over that huge MS logo

If you can get a girlfriend with a G15 you have my eternal respect

LOL! Well a female friend of mine was visiting recently and actually admired the G15! The blue keys caught her attention but she liked the LCD too!

Reclusa is also perilously close to sounding like Reclusive Loser though.. (though I'm probably closer to being both!)
