Personally, I love my new Saitek Eclipse II. Wouldn't trade it for anything, even a G15 (too pricey for a keyboard!).
Hmm, I get the feeling that the extra buttons are positioned so that you can hold the keyboard like a very large gamepad - bit weird. I think the Lycosa looks better, but the 2 jog dials might be very useful for use in certain apps.
reminds me of an etchasketch!
there's a really amazing European (German I think) keyboard due out soon, each key has a digital symbol on it instead of a pianted or stuck on letter that can be programmed and display a different image.
There's already a three key version around and a full keyboard should be soming soon - see the small one at ThinkGeek :: Optimus Mini Three Keyboard
ouch! probably have to wait for the sales...
Anyone get the idea that MS are going back on themselves after originally deciding to drop the sidewinder line a few years ago? Will we see a whole new line of sidewinder (or equiv) joysticks/wheels available soon?
I must be missing something - why would some work and others don't?
@mart_haj86: Well, the Sidewinder brand is back. But I am not sure if it means we'll see Joystick/Wheel from them. It's probably more efficient for them to allow Xbox360 input device to work on PCs as they did with their gamepad.
Mind you, I do really liked the original Sidewinder Gamepad, and I would definitely like to see a return.
I've got both the Reclusa and Habu. Got Habu in May and Reclusa in June, and I've had no problems with either.
Yeah I would think that's just for the US version, assuming they aren't ignorant enough to ship the same version sold in the US to the UK - Like for instance in a few games they'll tell you to use the tilde key to open the console, when they actually mean the button to the left of 1 - due to the differences with US keyboards.
Sooo.... how about tilde/hash/£?
It does look a lot less ugly than the G15, I have neither at the moment but I've heard so much praise of the G15 I was going to get it with a new PC. Hard to decide now really, the LCD really seems pointless for me, and I can't see much else that the G15 can do that the Reclusa can?
Have you used both, dangel?
Would be cool to know if you have or don't have the same issue as vechera too when you try what he mentioned.

I think everything was in what i'd call the 'normal place' (and so no different from another keyboard) afaik - but it's on my wife's PC not mine so i don't game on it etc. I'll check tonight if you like.
A friend of my has the G15 which is much larger (and more expensive) than the eclipse 2 - the lcd is useful for monitoring temps/load etc but you can always buy el cheapo external LCD anyway so.. I type on the eclipse II regularly and really like it - can't really say i've found anything i didn't like aside from it not remember which coloured lighting i last had (it starts up on blue) but that's no biggy.
I'm that friend! ;-)
I couldn't play WOW without thr G15 - even the G11 has number of macro keys the G15 has.
Before that I had the Eclipse 1. Nice enough, but the G15 (for me) beats it.
This hot girl came over to myspace last night, she twittered my yahoo till I
