Air Filters

Does anyone know of any suppliers that might supply 'fan sized' air filters to fit over case fans to prevent dust ingress?

I am thinking of a 80/92/120mm square 'gasket' type adaptor with a removable paper/cloth element?
Has anyone 'invented' this yet?

Kind of but I was thinking if something a bit finer with a replaceable/washable element.

You could always try making one urself, wouldnt be too difficult. Then u could use a material perfect for ur needs.

coffee filter paper is good for this purpose, you can cut it to size too

15-20 denier stockings make superb fan filters. Stretch the fabric over the fan, secure with sticky tape and trim off the excess.

When they get dirty, throw them away and use another pair of tights or stockings.

Without giving too much away transparent ladies knickers also work very well. Anything made from lightweight/semi-transparent elastane or lycra is great.

i got ones like that from ebuyer while ago but not sure if they had 120mm ones mine is 80mm

I know someone that uses womens stockings or 'pop socks' in their tropical fish water filter. Cheaper and work better than the commercial ones from pet shops.
