    Dell 207WFP - full screen/Aspect mode

    1920 x 1200 is fine, but I play a game which don't support widescreen (ie. Battleield 2142) I'd like to play at 1600x1200 and change the screen to 'aspect mode' to change this. I can't though - this part of the menu is now gray out, so it stays in 'full' (wide mode), even though the display is in 1600x1200. Can I change this? TIA!

    just add
    Code:
    +szx 1920 +szy 1200
    to the shortcut target on the desktop and it'll boot into 1920x1200

    cant actually solve your problem totally either, but have a look at http://www.widescreengamingforum.com/ when you think a game doesnt have widescreen suppourt. cause it probably can.

    maybe the aspect mode only works on some inputs?

    Put it this this way, if I need the display to 1280x1024 or even 1024x768, it'll do it...

    Don't know about the nV drivers, but you can change it in the ATi drivers so that it just blacks off the part of the screen not used.

    CCC > Digital Panel Properties > Attributes > Use Centered Timings.
