    Good overclocking DDR

I have an athlon 64 4000+ on an Asus A8N-SLI Premium. It's currently got 2gb of Kingston PC2700 on it. I want to overclock my CPU, but the RAM will hold it back, so I need better overclocking RAM. I've ordred this PC4000 from scan: http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/Produ...oductID=291360 but when I asked them it looks like it may never arrive and I should choose something else. The only problem with that is that they don't have anything that looks like it will overclock that well. So, I don't know what to do....

Has anyone found good overclocking DDR recently that's in stock?

Are these crucial DDR any good? http://www.crucial.com/uk/store/mpar...79576CA5CA7304

    Thanks

Sorry no idea about the Ballistix ram.
You do not necessarily need to overclock your ram to overclock your CPU.

Have you considered some cheap PC3200 ram, you will be able to run the ram at stock and the CPU at 2.8Ghz+ - if the CPU can do it...

I don't think cheap PC3200 will be much better than my PC2700, which wasn't cheap when i bought it lol, £280ish at the time for the two. I got my CPU up to ~2.8ghz and a nice super pi score once, but I had to underclock my RAM to do it and overall performance and stability suffered.

I want PC4000, as I hope it will allow me to get 2.8ghz at 1:1 memory, good latency and with 100% stability.
