Highest Core and Mem speeds for your X1950XT(X)

The configuration utility supplied on the catalyst control center, ramped mine up to 662mhz core and 945mhz mem.

Just wanted to know what you lovely folks out there have managed to push yours up to. Mine hits 89C :/

PS. On a side note, in Serious Sam 2 after the glendale demo, a core 41mhz faster and mem of 45mhz fast, only seems to give me 4% more of > 60FPS (scoring being > 60fps 96% and 30-60fps 4%. Before the gfx OC it was >60fps 92% and 30-60fps 8%) Ingame settings are everything on max/optimal 1600x1200, AA = medium HDR= off as it seems to lag you after cut scenes.

    How lame, I thought.
    ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I never see any mileage in overclocking a graphics card. Sure, unlocking one to a higher model reaps the benefits, but there's little point in overclocking a high end card for a few MHz extra.

4% seems about right, and just cements that viewpoint for me. There'll never be enough headroom to make it worthwhile.

The overclocking tool in catalyst control centre is pretty limited tbh. Use atitool and you will see a difference, I can get a good 10% more on both core and mem which definitely translates into a fps increase although at a cost of increased heat and noise so it balances out.
