    Ive ordered my pc :)

    Specs are:

    Q6600
    Pk5 Deluxe
    2GB Crucial Ballistix 800mhz
    500Gb Samsung HD501LJ
    Arctic Silver 5
Point Of View 8800GTX 768MB EXO Extreme Edition 600/1900
Corsair HX Series 620W Modular PSU
Thermaltake LCS Kandalf water cooled case with 8800GTX block

Im going to stick with the w/c kit (for now!) and then upgrade it when i've recovered from the stupid amount of money i've just spent! So before you all start telling me the kits crap, i know - i just liked the case and the version with w/c was only about £25 more.

Id just like to say thanks to everyone whos helped me make my choices in parts! You've all been great

What do you guys think to my specs? I can't wait to get it tomorrow!!!

Dont worry about it being a kit.

    Cheers unreal

redlight: what kind of temps are you getting on the cpu/gpu? Did you go for the thermaltake gpu block? Is it a noisy kit?

I just had a go on F.E.A.R to have a look CPU idle 31c load 38c the GPU which is at stock 46c idle 55c load.
I dont need to overclock the GPU but the last time cpu temps rose by around 3degrees and the GPU was 51c idle and 61c load.
As for noise it is whisper quiet.
Yes I use the TT Aquarius block with Swiftech MC8800 heatsinks.

Well there you go sums it up really somebody somewhere said it was rubbish.
Next thing you know everybody says its rubbish, without even having used one.
There is no way I would have it in my rig and risk my expensive toy if it was no good.
It runs 24/7 as well so it has been well tested..
Have fun building it I reckon thats the best bit.

    Current setup is:

AMD 3000 winchester (oc slightly to 2Ghz)
    1Gb crucial ram
320Gb sata hd (raid) - will transfer this to the new pc
    AGP 9800SE - i know, terrible...

Really isn't anything special but it's served me well and never has had any trouble!

The new pc is going to be a lot quicker I hope, and finally i'll be able to play games again

redlight: you're right, building it is definetly where the most fun is!
