    Akasa Ambers

Well I finally got my new rig up and running (yay). It's stable and I'm very very happy so many thanks to all who helped.

Before I go crazy with overclocking though I'm having a little trouble affixing a couple of akasa ambers to my case (eclipse 62). The ambers themselves don't seem to have any screw threads in them and the screws themselves just don't go in at all unless you really force them (and even then only about a mm or two).

How stupid am I being? I can't find anyone else with any problems.

    Help!

they come with self tapping screws...you're supposed to force them in.

Aaah, I shouldn't have been so hasty and let that breaking crushing plastic sound put me off.

Tonight I shall screw harder than I have ever screwed before!

Yeah, force them. I remember when i installedan Akasa fan, it took some serious carnage... But you just force them. I think this is a noise related feature, so the fans sit nice and snug and don't rumble much.

The man is right I figured this out after humming and harring and my dad came up to me and said, ah those are self tapping.
