    G5/Revolution/G7

    Any views guys? I think I want wireless...and I really want to replace this copperhead and the build quality is pants. I'm just not sure what to go for. Any help would be appreciated.

    Revolution rocks. Rocks a lot. Miles better than my already good MX900. If you're a hardcore gamer playing loads of FPSs, then the G5 is probably the better choice, but if you're a rounded user where gaming is just part of your usage, then I'm yet to find anything negative to say about the MX Revo.

    I do graphic design (Photoshop, InDesign etc.), general windows messing about trying to organise my music etc, and gaming - FPS, RTS mainly.

    Am I going to get on with the Revolution? I thought the lack of a specific well-placed thumb button would be missed, but does the thumb wheel make up for it? And I'm not sure about clicking the main mouse wheel (as opposed to scrolling in any of the 4 directions)...

    It's not a wheel - it's a 2-way rocker switch and with a button when you press it.
