Upgrades...

Hi there,

I'm currently considering and upgrade to PCI-e, but before I take the plunge and go for new motherboard, chip and memory (I reckon if I'm changing motherboard I may as well go to DDR2, dual core, etc). Are there any new developments in chipsets/memory types/graphics that I need to be aware of, and may be worth waiting for?

I'm looking at fairly low budget, either AMD X2 or E4300/E6300, and probably an x1950 pro...

well you could save money by oveclocking for a start.

around April 22nd there is an expected price drop of Intel CPU's and i think its a 40% off drop?

There are also going to be a whole range of Nvidia 8 series cards coming out that will be of varied price ranges.
