1 gig on lappy with vista

Is it enough. The only laptops where i am in the states come with 1 gig for my price range. Will it be enough? plus its 2x512 so i would have to replace it all.
Not sure wot to do.

it should be enough to be honest with you though, what are you worried about? the laptop isnt a gaming one is it?

no it isnt, jsut want it to be fast on desktop, loading music and stff, palying movies.

should be fine tbh, you will get the usual people coming on saying 2 gig minimum, flatmate uses one gig on ultimate and it runs fine, only issue he had was drivers.

but i would say you will be fine.

will get round to buying 2 gig sticks when funds permit. Tempted to buy it here, but feeling bad enough buying a laptop as it is. Whats the best price i can get for 2x1gb sticks
Think it supports 4200 and up
