SATA Boot Drive with IDE Slave [abit]

I've been having trouble and have now discovered that running and SATA (Raptor) as a boot drive with an IDE slave presents problems.

The SATA on its own is fine but when the ide slave is added it is always seen as the boot drive.

Any ideas on how to set this up? I'm using and Abit AN7.

i think theres a setting in the Softmenu Bios, although I cant be sure, as my NF7 has been left at uni over Xmas, so no check.

Make sure the Primary boot device is the SATA, and try putting the IDE slave as third or fourth, after floppy and CD. that may work, but its just a guess as I have no reference here.

    Worth a go tho matey.
