Laptops Sold Without OS? For linux:D

as the name states really.i doubt i want vista to be honest.so why pay for it when i don't need it... anywhere UK that sells laptops without OS's?

A guy managed to get Dell to refund him the cost of XP Home OEM on the grounds he didn't accept the User agreement, and so was entitled to a refund. Was a bit of hassle from what I recall, google should show up what I am refering to

cheers guy but hex that sites a ripoff! its cheaper to buy a dell with same spec for 559 than the 1000+ pound ones on there! only ones within budget have small hdd's and low ram and crap gfx cards:\ any other alternatives?

not really

economies of scale - if you want a cheap laptop, you need a big-name brand

there's always a dell n-series
