Any particular reason why it HAS to be this one?

Similarly priced and specced dells will come with a 3 year on site (at home) warranty..

The toshiba has the core duo rather than the newer core 2 duo. I think that makes it comparable to the amd dual core offerings. You can get the dell with an intel but..it will be more expensive.

They will be similar in performance..the only reason I recommend the dell is that you can get a much better on site warranty. Having experience of this warranty I can say its as simply as a phone call (lengthy but worth it) they work out what the problem is..you have someone at your house/work the next day and its fixed. 24 - 48 hour turnaround.

RTB policies can be...well months sometimes.
