Does any body have the ASUS P5B-Plus Vista Edition?

Just wondering if anyone in the community has got one of these yet? Ive been looking at this and its big brother the P5B Premium Vista Edition!

Just wanted peoples opinions of them but really the P5B PLUS

Someone posted a similar thread not too long ago.
Basically, if it suits you, go ahead, but don't be fooled by the "Vista Ready" crap, it means nothing.
If you like some of its features, go ahead, it's not necissarily better than any other P5B though.

The only real difference is you can add a TPM module module if you choose. If you don't know what that is you probably don't need it tbh.

Some of the vista boards come with a little LCD screen too, which seems pointless to me.

I wouldn't stress over it. Just pick whichever you can get a decent price on.

All the vista edition crap does is facilitate DRM junk and ReadyBoost, nothing groundbreaking/important.

Ive just had another look and i think you guys are rite so im now looking at this board:

Only thing is it doesn't have the remote which i quite fancied but can you buy this separately and plug it in?

You probably won't ever use the remote I've never once touched mine lol. It's limited in features, the only thing I can see it being useful for is remotely turning the PC off if I'm in bed and watching a film. But tbf, my computer is so quiet just letting it hibernate will do the trick fine
