E4300 Pin Mod
Check out this article by DaSickNinja over at THG:

Very nice for those with motherboards that can't OC (such as propietry Dell etc)
As a side note anyone know where I can pick up a conductive ink pen ? Did a quick froogle and found only 1 which was £10

Careful with this. Your chip may require extra voltage to hit the higher FSB, so you need to check that it is rock solid at stock volts at the higher FSB before you do this, or you will end up with a dead chip.
-
Wasn't there another mod aswell where it simply upped the FSB without changing the voltage ? Also would it change the voltage if you turned off C1E and all the other stuff ?

The pens are supposedly not all that great, the best way is to go to Halfords and buy a window demister fixing kit.....its basically conductive paint.
You can also change the voltage by insulating certain pins....
There a great article here about it, its more regarding E6xxx @ 333 FSB but touches on the E4300 and also details the mods quite well.
-
If its the 333 mod, it will make your E4300 boot at around 3ghz, so you need to double check that your particular chip will do 3ghz at stock voltage as some wont, and you may have problems booting/posting.

The thread shows both the 266 and 333 mods for the E4300.
It also details vcore pin mods...
Basically, all the info you need to overclock without an overclockers board is in that link.....as long as you don't break anything
I am about to do some work this week on mine and thinking of modding my E6600 to 333FSB to take some of the stress off of the memory controller.
