I should have bought the stuff over the Net, but my old mb blew a screw and I was stuck with no mouse and 480x640 in 16 colours so I went to a Belgian PC shop where they spoke little English. Since my French is good enough only to buy beer I ended up pointing and buying without taking advice.

    Actually IAmATeaf, I did bother to connect the floppy (properly), and only then think about when I last used it. 1967 I think. I think I'll whip it out and stick in a couple of rows of USB ports.
    Ahh I see, either dump the IDE disks for SATA or get a PCI IDE controller to run the DVDs off.
