Yes, but I'm using that for my two HDDs. I used to have a CD burner, DVD burner and two 200 GB hard drives. Now I just have the drives. I have a USB DVD reader so I get by, and I can burn using one of my laptops, but it wrinkles my butt to have a pretty good DVD burner just sitting on the floor.

Thanks shiathis, I'll probably do that. I should have bought the stuff over the Net, but my old mb blew a screw and I was stuck with no mouse and 480x640 in 16 colours so I went to a Belgian PC shop where they spoke little English. Since my French is good enough only to buy beer I ended up pointing and buying without taking advice.

Actually IAmATeaf, I did bother to connect the floppy (properly), and only then think about when I last used it. 1967 I think. I think I'll whip it out and stick in a couple of rows of USB ports.

Ahh I see, either dump the IDE disks for SATA or get a PCI IDE controller to run the DVDs off.
