my only complaint would be...why do you get such a good pc?

That looks just about perfect to be honest. Wouldn't be my choice of case but its not bad.

You dont need the dominator RAM if you're not overclocking just get the regular xms2

    other than that...build it

I would say quad core is not good for gaming, and depends on what work you do, your CPU will probably idle 97% of the time, and just sucking off so much electricity.

What "work" program are you running exactly?

You said you won't be overclocking but you planning to buy an overclocked version of 8800GTX?

Consider 500GB harddrives are so cheap why not go for 2x500G?

And, 22" widescreen will be wasting both your CPU and GPU in gaming. You need a 24"+ to utilize the potential of your system.

I'd agree with arthurleung, you only get a few fps xtra with an overclocked 8800, for the amount they are asking its a rip off.
24 inch and above are the way to go with the 8800 gtx and the forthcoming R600.
The Quads are a waste atm as there is very very little software that will use them. A C2D will be fine. So I would save some money on the Vid card and CPU and put it towards a 24 inch screen.

get the samsung then..if thats what you want lol.

If your going to get a 24" i'd get the dell 2407wfp but if dont get it just because someone on here told you to.

22" will be much easier on your eyes if you're reading a lot off the screen.

2gb of ram deffinatly but get the standard xms2 not the dominator theres no need for it in your system.

To be honest with the 22" screen you dont need the GTX so much but it might be useful if you love stupidly high frame rates lol. I run a GTS and it hasnt missed a beat at 1680 x 1050 (22" screens res) so you could save yourself £125 and get a GTS..well thats what I would do (did) lol

all those considerations will get you the best "bang for buck" pc ..quad core, dominator RAM and a GTX are luxeries you probably won't feel the benefit of.
