    Question LCD Monitor as TV?

    Hi guys,

When I buy my next PC and monitor I would like to be able to use it instead of my tiny old tv in my bedroom.

Firstly is this at all possible as I dont know too much about it (I know you can get tv tuner cards for your PC but again I dont know much about them or what channels they can pick up).

Ideally id like to be able to receive all terrestrial channels and also the feed from my sky box in the living room as my bedroom tv currently does.

What connections should I be looking for on a monitor to allow this? And can you recommend the best 20-24" monitor that has these connections? Or would a tuner card for my PC solve all my problems?

I use a dell 2007wfp (20").. It has svideo and composite connections on it which I use to plug in my freeview/dvd player and my ps2.

ps2 looks rubbish in it to be honest but the tv/dvd is great.

The dell 2407wfp (24" version) adds a component input to so you can plug just about anything in it.

They also have Picture by picture and the more useful to me..picture in picture.
