IcyBox Sata/USB enclosure not working in USB

I have been using this enclosure (IB-360AStUS) for about 2 weeks or so via the SATA connection with no problem. Now I have just gone back to my parents house and tried to connect it to the PC here via USB and it does not work

It detects the USB Device in device manager, but the drive cannot be seen in disk management. Anyone else had this problem?

    I just checked,

    http://www.raidsonic.de/de/pages/pro..._objectID=4374

    Only drivers needed for W98.

Is the USB installed correctly on these machines?
Check if there are any errors in the device manager.

Try different USB Ports, also trying reinstall the motherboard chipset drivers might help.

If that doesn't bring any changes, then it might be that the USB connection is faulty.
