Shuttle SN45G V3 - Ethernet Vista Problem

Hi,

ive been running xp pro on my system since i got it and everything was working fine.

I have just done a fresh install of vista ultimate on the system and everything works apart from the ethernet.

when i first installed the system, after having to download drivers and put them on the system with a usb stick it work give me the error that it "could not start the correct drivers".

so i reinstalled the system and now i get this error.

"device cannot start (code 10)"

any idea's anyone.

I had Shuttle SN45G V2 with faulty on-board Ethernet. It would only work at 10Mb/s full duplex. If I set it to 100Meg or auto negotiated it would not work. For me the simple solution was to fit a cheap Ethernet card.
