    Not much really

I'd get the Gigabyte DS3 instead of the commando (just personal preference) and drop the Corsair XM2 for something cheaper ? (If there is anything you can find)

Other than that looking v nice OCing at all ?

Very similar to my system, which so far I am please with.

You might want to cobsider the Seasonic S12-650 Energy+ instead of the older 600?

And also the Pioneer DVR-111BK (PATA) or the Samsung SH-S183A (SATA) optical drives - I have both, and they too are very good.

Definitely up the RAM to PC6400.
Try to make each and every day the best it can be.

Change the commando to a P5B deluxe. A quick search of the forums will tell you why

Well I was thinking that but the Commando looks so nice and its awesome in the reviews, I've wanted to work with it for ages, is there another similar motherboard to it? Only seems that a few people have had problems, all the reviews I have read look promising..

Its great on paper. And thats where it should stay. On paper

You may be lucky, and get a working one. I can imagine it being a great board if they sort the whistling and the ram killing problems.

The dominator ram isnt good value for money. If you shop around, you can get some good ram with the same timings from a different manufacturer for around £110. At the same speeds and timings, the cheap ram will perform pretty much the same as the dominators for £60 less.

    Well....

You could change to a Core 2 Extreme QX6700
    4GB DDR2
    8800GTX
    4x 500GB 7200GB HDD's in RAID0+1
    Dell 3007WFP-HC Monitor
    G15 Keyboard

Then I think you'd struggle to improve on it.
(If anyone suggests an nForce 680i + SLI then I'll grot you)

I've been reading up alot on the Abit and it doesn't seem to be that much of a competitor, especially extra wise than the Commando.

In short what are the problems people have had with the Commando? Maybe they got a bad mobo, I've not seen many people with problems with it.
