buying perforated metal sheet to bend into a DIY computer case

I want to buy some really nice looking grill material preferably made of aluminium to bend into a micro ATX case.

the idea is that because it is full of holes it should be really easy to fix all the components into the smallest possible space.

so far I have found some aluminium stuff which is 2.5mm thickness.

I don't know what to get exactly, if it is too thin it will be flimsy and to think it will be heavy and hard to bend right.

    what should I do?

the cheapo metal folding devices at Machine Mart talk about thickness of steel - so I've no idea how you scale that for aluminium.

TBH, using mesh will make quiet cooling a nightmare (if this is an aim).
