Enermax Galaxy 1000W or Seasonic M12 700

I've got an Enermax Galaxy here, never used. I was going to put it in my new system but I suspect that even if I went SLI it would still be more power than I'll ever need (C2D, 8800GTX, 2x optical, 4x HDD). I've read good things about the Seasonic M12, mainly like the fact that it's (supposedly) reasonably quiet. Is it worth selling the Galaxy to pay for a Seasonic, or will I miss that extra 300W?

Don't know exactly, but less than the lowest price I can find for it on Froogle.

Need to find out whether it's worth buying an M12 first

Good points about the galaxy;

Good, solid power.
More power than you could ever need.
More cables than you could ever need.
8 pin pci-e cables (DXX)
Long cables, long enough for the 8 pin 12v cable to reach, when the cpu is mounted in the bottom of the case.
Enermax customer service is excellent.

Bad points.

Loud. By loud, I dont mean like a hairdryer, its more of a powerful whooshing of air at idle, but if you manage to give it some welly (and on startup) it is quite fugly loud.
Can be fussy with some Asus boards.
Physically too large for most cases.

Not used the Enermax but I do have the M12-700.....

Firstly, I was surprised how small it was, substantially smaller then the Hyper 730w it replaced.......It took me ~20 mins to get the Hyper in my case and another 20+mins to get it out again, the Seasonic slipped in immediately

The Seasonic is also quite quiet, the modular cable connectors are very good and its power is very well delivered.

Size isn't a problem, I'll be using a Cooler Master 830. I'm more concerned about the noise as my PC is right by my bed and running all the time. Will the Seasonic provide enough power, even if I go SLI later on?
