    Graphical Decision

I have £150 max really to spend on a graphics card, I an mot a mad gamer but want to try and get the best I can.

The 8800GTs seem a little out of my league. Can £150 get me a morethan decent card wiuthout going to £180 plus?

£150 is kinda in the middle of 2 best value brackets.Either:

    1. Spend a bit more and go for a 8800GTS 320mb

    2. For only about £100 get an ATI x1950pro or nvidia 7900GS. You might be able to find a 7950GT on special somewhere which is slightly better than these cards.

    8800>7950GT>x1950pro>7900GS

theres various deals to get the GTS for around £165.

Spend the extra £15 it's worth it if this its going in a gaming machine.

150 gets you a x1950xt, which is great for dx9 based stuff.

As fast as the 8800GTS for some things, not too far behind it for others.
