    Smile Ab9

    Anyone know if its ok to mount this thing upside down - there's a heatpipe on it and I don't want the heat going the wrong way.........

    It would be impossible for the heatpipe to "go the wrong way" thanks to the laws of thermodynamics (heat travels from hot to cold)

    However, it's potentially possible for them to be less efficiant if they use a vapour core instead of a solid core.

    Not sure about the one on the ab9, but quite a few heatpipe coolers dont work properly when mounted upside down. i think the abit forum is your best bet to find out for sure
