    Which Ram?

I am looking for some overclockable ram

    I have an e6600 and a p5WDH Deluxe

And I am looking at either the:

    Geil Ultra http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showpr...odid=MY-058-GL

    or the

    OCZ Platinum
    http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showpr...odid=MY-072-OC

I am only showing this site so people can do comparisons, the Geil is cheaper on microdirect. Many thanks

I am edging towards the Geil, because it is cheaper, but would they both do 4-4-4-12?

    Thanks

Both the manufacturers have lifetime warranties, is one any faster than the other, or is 4-4-4-12 standard on both? Thanks for the input, I was leaning towards the Geil until then.

That is what is making me think GEil, £104 delivered, and then there is 3% at quidco, is there £20 between these two manufacturers?

I bought some 3 weeks ago and its fantastic.

I even bought from OCUK (who i hate passioantely) but the RMA, if theres a problem, would be directly from OCZ so i wasnt too worried.

If Scan had a good selection of RAM i wouldve bought from there but unfortunately, although Scan is fantastic, their RAM selection is rubbish. They only stock Corsair. As good as Corsair is, theres as good if not better at a lower price.

I've got the Geil, and unfortunately it doesn't want to OC much at all. £99 however is a jaw dropping price....

I think we've discussed this before.....

I can't get past 860 at 4-4-4-12 whatever I do, so I couldn't recommend it for OC'ing personally, but I have heard that others have had some success, so I may have just been unlucky with the kit I got...

Hmmm...think its the Geil then, many thanks for your suggestions, was hoping there were others out there. Can't see ram prices getting much cheaper than this, if they do...I'll have to buy another set! Thanks again
