wires on a cooling fan

need a bit of help here, im just wondering what wires from a fan will go into a molex plug (as in the one with pins)

from the fan i have

a red wire
a black wire
and a white wire

and i just need to know which ones frrom the molex these will connect to to make the fan go.

i can try and get a picture if you need one :/
