if you have a USB thing crashing because of a voltage drop, you have a 500W ultra-powerful high brand power supply, is there a way to increase BIOS chipset voltage or something like that to improve USB?

Could you have too many things on the usb bus, or is the thing that is crashing more than the usb bus can handle to begin with? Does it need an external power source?
try changing usb bios setting, base/shadow
If you have a problem with underpowered USB ports, you can pick up a powered USB hub for about £5.
Way simpler than trying to break the USB specification
cheers it turns out it is okay in the end, found a driver for the hardware from about three years back that is rock solid. some kind of core logic issue...thanks
