    Antec P182/P182SE

What do people think of these beasties? Who will be stocking the SE? Overclockers have it, does anyone else?

Until they fix the problems with too little space for the PSU and cables I'm not tempted. Apart from that, excellent

I do like my P180b though, for what that's worth...

I've modded my P180 as well

Ebuyer also have the P182SE, it's not OCUK exclusive as they orginally claimed

I'm not happy that Antec are charging more for the P182 than the P180. I mean after all you get less case for the money - they've cut bits out so why should they be charging more

    Still a nice case though.

I'm thinking of moving over to one of these cases - 2 x 220mm fans on the side. I believe you don't need any other fans.

I have a 180b and don't have a problem with PSU or cable space, but the 182 enables PSU cables to be routed across the bottom of case and behind motherboard to ease this problem, so I believe.

In the motherboard tray at the top there are two rectangle holes to feed the 12v cable through.

PSU section the've cut a bit out so it's possible to route cables behind the motherboard tray.

Pic shows the motherboard cut outs

... so this is a case where less is more! LOL

If they have to put in additional cut-outs (and I think there are more changes than just that, subtle and minor they may be)... then there are additional manufacturing processes that cost more.....

However I would have expected the 182 to be the current 180 price and the 180 to drop (if they are keeping it on as a product).

I read a few posts a couple of weeks ago where people had ordered a 180 and got a 182 delivered in a 180 box (same price).
Try to make each and every day the best it can be.

I was expecting the P182 to be the same price as the P180 as well

Some ordered from Scan and ended up with the P182 - lucky.

Me - no way was I going to pay that much for the P182, so did my own mods
