Yup, a fire extinguisher for your CPU and power supply, you want to be getting a half decent aftermarket heatsink/fan to go with your processor, and that PSU is way over the top, you wont need any more than 600W.. I highly recommend Tagan PSUs, the dual engine series is pretty nifty and quiet. Also if you're an avid gamer, and from the 8800GTX I assume you are, because it makes no sense to have such a brutal powerhouse of a GPU if you're not, you'll want a better keyboard and mouse, like a Logitech G15 or Saitek Eclipse keyboard, and a Logitech G5 mouse, the USB cable connections massively decrease latency.

I'm not sure, but it looks like you have just added the best of everything regardless of whether you are actually going to need it?

    BlueRay - I'd leave for a while
Modem - who uses these any more? If you are using it for faxes, get a dedicated fax machine.
Vista - if you are buying 4gb of RAM, you need 64bit, 32bit runs out of logical addresses.

Oh, and if this is going to be used in a production environment, get someone else to build it for you.

Indeed, a standard cookie cutter high spec machine, regardless of common sense. Infact, it looks copy and pasted from a system configurator, especially that 56K modem.. lol

If you're not going to be using the system for much gaming (and I wouldn't ever stick games on a photoshop system)... then why on earth do you need an 8800GTX?

    On what basis?
    1. The Galaxy is a far better unit than ANY Tagan.
    2. Any up to date 550W+ Seasonic/Enermax/Corsair is a better choice than the Tagan aswell.

I get the feeling this thread may be a joke one anyway.
All that money and they want use IDE drives (only 1 channel on the mobo anyway)

I'm very jealous if you can afford to waste money on a system like that and this is not a joke but it is seriously over the top. Intel are going to cut prices on thier quad cores at the least soon so you may as well wait for that.

Blu Ray...what on Gods green earth are you going to use that for?

if you're not gaming lose the gaming graphics card. you wouldn't notice the difference between a $50 card and a GTX if you aren't going to game on it.

can't be bothered with the rest but seriously if you can afford that wheres the Raptor Hard Drives
