Shuttle Case Modding
I'm planning on doing a bit of modding with my shuttle SB65G2.
The plan is to put a couple of 60mm fans at the back and cut out the radiator fan grill.
The fan grill is the easy bit as im going to use a 'nibbler', for the actual holes I could use my dremel but I was browsing various forums and came across this...

Its a sheet metal hole punch made by q-max. Anyone actually used one of these, they are supposed to give a near perfect finish, less effort is nice...
Or should I just stop being a lazy git and use the good old dremel?

u have a link to that piece of kit??

Theres a uk supplier for them, just need to find somewhere cheaper if poss. I might nip to B&Q and have a look for something similar.

47mm seems to be the biggest size listed on there.........bit shy of your 60mm ambition.
-
Rabs is going to use his nibbler for the fan holes themselves -- he wants the mini-press for the screw holes to mount the fans to. Unless I've misunderstood him, anyway.
-
Yep the nibblers for the rear fan 'grill', the above tool would be for 2 x 60mm top 'blowhole' case fans.
-
Yeah but as Joe says they only go up to 47mm, and get bloody expensive at that size too! Give the dremel a go!

I have one of these ... never used it!
