    Asus Update Utility for Vista?

Well, since last posting here I have successfully put together my new system (see the spec under my username), and overall I'm very happy, everything seems to be working fine.

My next step is to overclock my processor, using Clunk's very handy Overclocking Guide For Beginners. The first stage is to update my motherboard BIOS (Asus P5B Deluxe WiFi/AP), but it would appear that there is no Asus update utility available for Windows Vista. Is that correct? Does that mean I have to use the AFUDOS utility and mess around with bootable floppies? Or is there an easier way?

the Windows XP one works fine apart from the auto-update functionality. Just download the latest bios file from the Asus website and then point the update software at it.

my p5b (standard) has the option to flash from the bios, i cant remember what its called but its the 2nd tab from the right.

flashed to 1102 i think it was that way, i see theres a new bios out, might do it again.

Yeah, you can update from a USB stick via the BIOS.
