Is it overclocked at all?
Is it overclocked at all?
nope
First things first you need to disable windows reboots on crashes....
Only then will you know if its hardware or software related.
My Computer > Properties > Advanced > Startup and Recovery
Uncheck "Automatically Reboot"
Then let windows reboot.
Now let us know whether it still resets or whether you get a BSOD.

true but my psu has a good ampage and my system doesnt need much power and ive seen people with more stuff then i have running there system fine, my dad has same psu and hes got a more hungry cpu, motherboard, gpu hard drive etc and hes
never had the problem. hes on other side of room so ?
sounds like you have either been very unlucky with psu's and you got another duff one or maybe somethings over heating, poss the cpu or even northbridge
have you checked the heatsinks on the mobo, are they fully on with a good connection. what about the cpu hsf, are you using stock or something else, is it seated right etc, always worth having a look
also if your dads got the same psu, have you tried using his in your machine just to make sure...
Either borrow your dads, or see if you can get hold of a decent branded one.
i really dont think it is psu guys, because i got system last year and it was fine for months then about christmas it started i bought psu still same problem and this is a good psu so i dont think its that.
Also hsf and heatsinks on bridges are fine.
did you grab the latest chipset drivers off the intel site?
nope ill try that
I really don't thinks its software related though as there are no BSODs and no lockups.....just the instant restart.....which screams PSU unfortunately.
