    Smile psu which way up?

I have a LIan-Li v1000 and the psu is in the lower compartment at the bottom of the case. I am trying to work out which way it should be positioned - the fan either faces up (to a 5mm clearance until the metal divider, i suppose allowing good intake, but compromising exhaust) or down to the mesh and under the case (allowing good exhaust but potentially warm intake) Any ideas?
